Welcome to our little space on the net! This blog is just about our family life, and began as a way to keep family and friends updated on what was going on with my pregnancy with our first son, Gage. We've since added Evie to our family, and I continue to blog about family life, car seats, spina bifida, and anything else that catches my attention.

Yesterday was a long, stressful day, but we're all home and that's all that matters now. I don't know why discharge day is so poorly managed, but it was. I won't go into all the details, because I still love Children's...anyway, just wanted to let everyone know that we're home and thank you all so much for your prayers!

I am so glad that you guys are home. Maybe now you can get some rest and have a faster recovery for Gage. I am still praying for your strength and for Tony. You guys are doing so great!!!

Jess, Tony and Big G,

Couldn't resist a little goodie for G. I gave them to your Mom Trixie. Cram his little feet into them and make him wear them for at least 30 minutes. Tony, these are not "girl shoes". They are appropriate holiday wear and he deserves nothing but the best. That's why He chose you two as parents. Waiting to meet him is like looking forward to summer. I love ya'll.
