Welcome to our little space on the net! This blog is just about our family life, and began as a way to keep family and friends updated on what was going on with my pregnancy with our first son, Gage. We've since added Evie to our family, and I continue to blog about family life, car seats, spina bifida, and anything else that catches my attention.

Pray for Tater
Please pray for Dusty's roommate John, aka Tater. Saturday, he went to the ER with a high fever and vomiting. They admitted him with double severe pneumonia. It turned into acute respiratory distress syndrome so they sedated him and put him on a ventilator because his O2 was dipping down to 84% or so. Yesterday things were looking better. They turned the vent down to 80%. His parents arrived from North Dakota and his mom is a surgeon, so knows the doctor speak. Today he's back on the vent at 100% and they have started dialysis. They want to move him to Vanderbilt but his vent is not compatible with the vent on the helicoptor. He NEEDS to be at Vandy. He is not doing well today.
