Welcome to our little space on the net! This blog is just about our family life, and began as a way to keep family and friends updated on what was going on with my pregnancy with our first son, Gage. We've since added Evie to our family, and I continue to blog about family life, car seats, spina bifida, and anything else that catches my attention.

4 month WBV

Evie was 4 months on May 13th, but we just went to her well child visit today.

She is:
14lbs (50th %ile)
25.5" tall (75th%ile)
16 3/4" head (75th%il)

So she's tall and thin with a big head!
She's wearing 3-6 or 6-9 month clothes.
She doesn't ever wear shoes, but she has tiny feet. I think she is still in a size 1.

She's doing well overall. She's super social. Getting a smile or even a giggle out of her is easy. She's very interested in what's going on around her. She loves to watch Gage.

She has rolled over several times, tummy to back. She really enjoys playing on her tummy for a few minutes at a time, especially when Gage will play with her.

She has excellent head control and sits well with a little support. She pushes up to her hands when she's on her tummy.

She STILL sleeps all night. Usually 10-12 hours. She generally takes a few short naps in the morning and one long one in the afternoon. Gage didn't nap for more than 30 minutes at a time for a LONG time.

She still uses her binky, especially to go to sleep.

We're using cloth diapers all the time now, even when we go out. She was having blowouts too often in disposibles and it just doesn't happen much in cloth. Plus, they're cute :). The ones we are using are from Cloth Diaper Wholesale and we love them. Here she is in their first print, breezy.
We also have 4 BumGenius and 2 Kawaii that get cycled through.
