Welcome to our little space on the net! This blog is just about our family life, and began as a way to keep family and friends updated on what was going on with my pregnancy with our first son, Gage. We've since added Evie to our family, and I continue to blog about family life, car seats, spina bifida, and anything else that catches my attention.

It started snowing yesterday afternoon. We woke up this morning to around 4 inches. That would all be wonderful if the love of my life could stay home in the warm house and enjoy it with us!! But...sick people don't take snow days, so he had to go. He left in my 4WD with a change of clothes in case he decides to stay the night. And it looks as if he will :(.
Gage has been enthralled with the snow. He's been walking from window to window saying "OOOH, SNOW!!! LOOK MOM! IT'S SNOWING! So, we bundled up Christmas Story style
And headed out the door. In these conditions, one really needs a vehicle that can handle the treacherous roadways.
The dead of winter is the best time to play on your fort/swing set.
We are hoping all of this is drivable tomorrow night (so Tony can come home) and completely gone by Thursday so our drive to Memphis is uneventful.
