The Man shower

Our good friend/cousin Matthew is getting married to his Cati in a couple of weeks.  They, like us, have a lot of family, and have had a lot of showers, so we decided to throw Matthew a man-shower. 

If you've never been to a man-shower, I recommend you find one to go to!  They're so much more fun than girly showers, and quite easy to throw, too.  All we needed was 50 burgers and hot dogs, some chips, some lemonade, and a cake.  We went to a local park, cooked out, and had fun!  Matthew got showered with honey-do type gifts, along with gift cards to Lowe's and Home Depot.  It's great, because by the time a couple like this gets to the wedding day, they've had 5 showers, most of which focus on the wife-to-be and her domestic duties.  The poor guy is left to run to Lowe's for a new wrench or level when the need arises while the wife tries to figure out how in the world she is going to even use all of the stuff she's been given.
